Lorenz Amiet, chairman of one-group and CEO of leading European moving and relocation company Keller Swiss Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Edwin Ooms, 44, as Chief Operating Officer. Ooms assumes the position with immediate effect at the company’s headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
Ooms’ primary role will be to manage Keller’s international business, as well as assist Amiet in overseeing the Group’s moving and relocation operations. Agent relations and quality management will also fall under Ooms’ responsibilities. Michel Rusterholtz as Chief Financial Officer and Raymond Machenbaum as Sales and Marketing Director remain in their respective roles on the Executive Board.

Born and raised in The Netherlands, Ooms has spent his entire professional career in the relocation industry. He has worked in both Europe and the United States. His resume includes management positions at Keller’s ‘one-group’ partner De Haan in The Netherlands, and most recently executive level Sales and Operations roles at Graebel International in Denver, Colorado. He has a degree in business administration and holds CRP and GMS designations.
