The board of one-group and the board of directors of Robinsons International are happy to announce Robinsons’ acceptance into one-group. Anthony Robinson, Managing Director of Robinsons International Removals and Robinsons Relocation, joined the General Assembly of one-group in Frankfurt after the decision was taken “We are absolutely delighted to be joining one-group as the UK partner. This appointment complements our business strategy in the corporate moving and relocation sectors of our industry. Business decisions need to reflect a win-win solution and the acceptance of Robinsons into one-group brings benefit to both Robinsons, one-group and more importantly our clients.” Robinsons was accepted by a unanimous vote among all one-group partners. The company was proposed to the General Assembly after a thorough review which encompassed areas such as operational capacity, standards and scope of services as well as financial stability.
Rene van Valen, departing chairman of one-group, announced “We are extremely pleased and happy about Robinsons joining the one-group family. It was our top priority to find a strong and premium service partner for the UK, especially with London being one of the biggest European markets of our moving and relocation industry. We are happy to announce this membership before peak season starts and we came up with a very strong solution for all our international partners. Also the General Assembly elected Lorenz Amiet as chairman of one-group replacing Rene van Valen, who is leaving the board after 6 years of dedicated service and the last 4 months as chairman. Lorenz Amiet, CEO of Keller Swiss Group Ltd, one-group’s Swiss partner, has played a key role in the build-up of one-group as Executive Vice Chairman. All other members of the board were re-elected for a further 2 year term.
