| ASYA achieves C-TPAT validation - C-TPAT stands for Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) trade security program. Its purpose is to partner with the trade community to
secure the U.S. and international supply chains from possible intrusion by terrorist organizations.

Companies outside of the U.S. can be validated, which proves that a company is taking all the necessary security measures internally and in its shipments to the U.S.
Asya has put a lot of effort into this initiative. “Being FIDI-Faim certified did help very much as we had already implemented many of the important measures. Some things that we were already doing under the umbrella of ‘quality’ moved on under
the umbrella of ‘security’. I am glad to say that we have been successfully validated at the end of the first audit”, says Banu Demirel, who coordinated the validation process at Asya.
